The Temple Garden of Philosophy was established in 1904 by INOUE Enryo, philosopher and founder of Toyo University. Dr. Enryo created the Garden as a place for the betterment of mind and spirit, and today it remains as a truly-unique visual expression of the world of human thought and a place for education in philosophical and social issues.
